Music @ MPPS

Here at Middle Park Primary School we have regular rehearsals every Tuesday for the school band (for more senior grade 3-6 students) and Wednesday mornings at 8 a.m for the school orchestra (all students are welcome). All students from Middle Park Primary School can attend these rehearsals free of charge and enjoy playing music together.

During these rehearsals, they learn how to read music, listen and perform together. They are introduced to a variety of music from popular to classical and film music. Students play on keyboards, violins, marimbas, glockenspiels, guitar and flute.

Both ensembles are run by Natasha Vagner (Natalya), who is happily arranging and adapting music for students and prepares them for school performances.

Here at Middle Park Primary School, students also have the opportunity to learn piano privately at school by taking lessons throughout the day.
